Welcome to Pesewa Peeper! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our financial tracking application and services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Service Description

Pesewa Peeper is a personal financial tracking application designed for users in Ghana. Our services include:

• Expense and income tracking in Ghana Cedis (GHS)
• AI-powered transaction categorization
• Multi-account wallet management (Cash, Bank, Mobile Money, Credit Cards)
• Receipt scanning and OCR processing
• Financial insights and spending analytics
• Budget tracking and goal setting
• Data visualization and reporting

Account Registration

Eligibility

To use Pesewa Peeper, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain and update your account information

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication

User Responsibilities

When using Pesewa Peeper, you agree to:

• Accuracy: Provide accurate financial information
• Lawful Use: Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Security: Not attempt to breach security or access unauthorized areas
• No Sharing: Not share your account with others
• No Scraping: Not use automated tools to access our services
• Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use Pesewa Peeper to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious code or viruses
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt our services
• Collect user data without authorization
• Use the service for money laundering or fraud
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

AI-Powered Features

Pesewa Peeper uses artificial intelligence to provide smart categorization and insights. You acknowledge that:

• AI suggestions are automated and may not always be accurate
• You should review and verify AI-generated categorizations
• AI insights are for informational purposes only, not financial advice
• We are not liable for decisions made based on AI recommendations
• You can opt-out of AI features at any time

• We do not provide financial, investment, or tax advice
• Our insights and recommendations are for informational purposes only
• You should consult qualified professionals for financial decisions
• We are not responsible for financial losses or missed opportunities
• Past performance does not guarantee future results

Data and Privacy

Your use of Pesewa Peeper is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to:

Payment and Subscription

Free Service

Pesewa Peeper currently offers free access to all features. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future with advance notice to users.

Future Paid Features

If we introduce paid subscriptions:

• We will provide 30 days' advance notice
• Current users may receive grandfathered pricing
• You can cancel your account before charges apply
• Refund policies will be clearly stated

All content, features, and functionality of Pesewa Peeper are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of your financial data. By using our services, you grant us:

• The right to backup and secure your data

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

• We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted access
• Services may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance

We recommend regular data exports to maintain your own backup.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Pesewa Peeper is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed GH₵ 100.00 or the amount you paid us (whichever is greater)
• We are not responsible for third-party services or content
• We are not liable for data loss (you should maintain backups)

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pesewa Peeper from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or regulations
• Your violation of third-party rights
• Unauthorized use of your account

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination:

• Your access to services will cease immediately
• Your data will be deleted within 90 days
• You may export your data before deletion

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Your account is inactive for 24 months
• We discontinue the service (with 60 days' notice)

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Pesewa Peeper:

• First, contact us to resolve the issue informally
• Disputes will be governed by the laws of Ghana
• Exclusive jurisdiction shall be in the courts of Ghana
• You agree to attempt mediation before litigation

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending you an email notification (for significant changes)
• Displaying a prominent notice in the application

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
